AlphaWolf Basketball returns this fall with some great basketball programming.  The following programs are open to all players regardless of residence or club membership.  If you have any questions please call us at 248-541-HOOP!

PUP BASKETBALL CLINICS (grades K-1):
Instructional Clinics for grades K-1.  A great way to get familiar with the rules and basic skills needed to play the game.  A great program where kids learn in a fun environment.  Competitive level is low for K-1 and increases slightly for grades 1-2. 27.5 ball is used on 9 OR 9'6" foot hoop (pending ability).

PUP BASKETBALL LEAGUE (grades 1-2):
Instructional League for grades 1-2.  Coaches focus on team building skills such as passing, help defense and floor positioning.  Players are evaluated and placed on teams.  Coaches are paid AlphaWolf staff (no parent volunteers) who also officiate games.  It is suggested that 1st graders who are beginners play in the K-1 class as the competitive level increases from low to moderate. Games are played on a 9'3" basket and played with a 27.5 ball.

ROOKIE BASKETBALL LEAGUES (gr. 2-3):
This is an Instructional League where players will spend time both learning team skills and playing games.  Emphasis is placed on team skills such as passing, setting picks and help defense.  The games are officiated on a per-player basis so that beginners can learn the game in an environment that is not overwhelming. Coaches are AlphaWolf Staff only, no parent volunteers.  Of the two programs listed below, the Saturday League tends to be the more competitive of the two.  Teams meet only on the day listed.  Games are played with a 28.5 ball on a 10-foot hoop.
